Sunday School

Sunday School meets from 9:40-10:40.  Children, Youth, and Adult Sunday School Classes are available.

Children’s Sunday school is divided by school year.  Children who are in Prek3 through 5th grade meet upstairs in the Children’s wing (on the second floor of the education building).  Children younger than Prek3 have Sunday School in the Nursery.

Youth Sunday School Meets in the Youth area located on the second floor up the stairs which are behind the Sanctuary.  Junior High and Senior High Youth meet separately. Several Adult Sunday School Options are available.

The Branches are an adult group of caring, loving, welcoming Christians who strive to learn more about our Savior. We always have room for more people seeking knowledge and fellowship. The concern, prayers and sharing make us a family anyone would want to join. Give us a try once and you’ll be excited to come back every week.

This class is open to adults of any age and is especially intended for people who have never been a part of an adult class and/or for people who have irregular work schedules or other commitments that make it difficult for them to be with us at 9:40 every Sunday. Many of us have never done an adult class before, so come and figure it out with us. We have an online component to allow participation for people who have to miss class, including a private Facebook group to allow people to check in online when they can’t be with us.

The Tribe

The Tribe class is a friendly and casual group of men and women. Different ages and backgrounds linked in Christ, we are seekers who accept and encourage each other along the way. Weekly Bible or book studies lead by different class volunteers encourages honest discussion.

Touchstones is a class made up of men and women of all ages. Many are parents or grandparents of infants through middle school children. The focus of the class is on study of the Bible and its application to daily living. The class has a deep interest in mission and has sponsored a family mission experience the past two summers and is planning a trip to the Outdoor Wilderness Learning Center (a ministry of the Methodist Children’s Home in Ruston) this summer. Parties, social, and recreational events include children and youth. The class is open to anyone, married or single, with or without children who have a desire to discuss the Bible, prayer, and family issues. Marj Robinson is class leader.

The Weavers class is an eclectic, friendly inter-generational thought provoking discussion class comprised of men and women. Class curriculum changes to keep things interesting but is always backed up with Scripture. We welcome all to join with us on our faith journey in Room 106 (the old Wesleyan classroom).
